Chris Hadfield's Expedition 34/35 Patch

This patch commemorates Canada's second long-haul mission onboard the ISS. The wings at the top of the patch were conferred on the Colonel by the Prime Minister of Canada in 1995. These wings serve as recognition of Commander Hadfield being Canada's first military pilot astronaut. The border of the patch and shading of the living quarters mark the very first time that a Canadian commanded a spaceship. The stars on the patch represent Commander Hadfield's three space voyages and his three children.
